Last year I was honoured to have an article published by the online International Flower Essence Journal Sentire. It was about the research I am doing into the energetics of the hydrosols I am steam distilling and how they work when you dilute them down as you would a flower essence.

Since this article has been published I have been working with these powerful liquids more and more in my practise. Nearly everyone I see needs one of these ‘hydrosol essences’ alongside the essences made using the sun method in their personal combination. Unlike the essences I have made in the past, which seem to tell me quite easily what they are for, I’m having much more trouble pinning down descriptions for these ones - it’s almost like they don’t need us to know what they are for - they just come in, in quite a masculine/linear way, do their work and leave again. I would like to say I’m getting to know them but I’m not really, even though I have a strong relationship with the plants they are from. But what I do know is they are powerful and direct and needed and, at the moment, that is enough.
